Consulting

Alongside my direct work with young children and families, I enjoy having a broader impact by consulting for schools and other organizations:

  • Collaborating on teams to create early childhood development content and cascade out advice

  • Participating on Boards to share experiences, exchange ideas, and recommend new approaches

  • In concert with other educators and professionals, evaluating classrooms and programs — and suggesting ways to improve them

  • Individually and with trusted long-term partners in the field, conducting staff development workshops, parent talks, and presentations

My excitement about young people and enthusiasm for collaboratively working enable me to build productive long term relationships in organizations — and my wealth of stories and concrete examples enable me to quickly engage new groups and leave them with actionable ideas.

I love what I do — and I’m not shy about sharing it!

Conferences, colleges, and schools where I have presented:

  • NAEYC Annual Conference: Social emotional literacy through play: Rethinking classroom engagement, the importance of play dyads, and reframing early development as “stage not age” in the time of Covid and beyond
